Our subscription based pricing makes it easy for our clients to not only get all the services they need month after month, they also benefit by the option to buy customized bandwidth on demand.
We at Occam’s create and implement upon effective and uncomplicated strategies and solutions to counter complex problems faced by our clients. Our inspiration is drawn from Occam’s Razor and we endeavor to design most logical and easy-to-implement solutions. We acknowledge that the world is an increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) place where businesses have to deal with consistently higher level of challenges in an increasingly more interconnected and convergent world. We have helped our clients overcome complexity by applying our proprietary methods in creating strategies and solutions.
We believe that a simpler theory is more comprehensible and offers several advantages. We have experienced that a comprehensive problem solving with the use of minimum possible variables tends to be more effective. As a part of problem solving for our clients, we at Occam’s Paradigm prioritize the variables in order of criticality. Our methodology presupposes that the more crucial variables will have a more significant contribution to the solution seeking process. In our experience, asking is more helpful than telling. We do not accept something because that is how it has been done before. We believe in pushing status quo by asking the hard questions.
The name Occam’s Paradigm owes its origin to the works of William of Occam (aka Ockham 1288 – 1348 AD) who was an English Franciscan friar and scholastic philosopher. His widely quoted principle known as Occam’s Razor recommends the selection, among competing hypotheses, of the one that makes the fewest assumptions and by extension offers the simplest explanation of the effect. Occam’s Razor recommends that one should always opt for an explanation in terms of the fewest possible number of causes, factors, or variables. Occam’s Razor is frequently expressed in the statement, ‘Entia non suntmul- tiplicanda sine necessitate’ that is ‘Beings are not to be multiplied beyond necessity’. Put simply – ‘Other things being equal, a simpler explanation is better than a more complex one’.William of Occam used simplicity as a criterion of concept formation and theory construction. We note that even though Occam’s Razor has not been proven to be valid, neither theoretically nor experimentally, we believe that a simpler theory is more comprehensible and offers several advantages in the context of an increasingly complex business world. We at Occam’s Paradigm, Inc. believe that in an increasingly convergent and complex world, problem solving with the use of minimum possible variables tends to be more effective. Hence our signature line – ‘Less > More.’
Now is Better Than Perfect
Our philosophies – what we believe in…
Our philosophy and methodology focusses on simplifying complexities. Excessive options or choice can lead to “choice paralysis”, which further results in client dissatisfaction.
